The least glamorous Tesla product may be the one that matters most to a household bill. Megapacks do not pose on a hillside. They sit behind a fence and soak up sunshine, wind, and cheap overnight power so that the evening peak does not have to be a crisis.
Energy storage is how a modern grid stops treating renewables as a mood and starts treating them as a tool. Tesla has been shipping that tool at industrial scale. The result, in places that actually install it, is a quieter stack and a less theatrical politics of blackouts.

Australia should be the easiest country on earth to explain this in. We have sun, we have space, we have a population that has already adopted rooftop solar like a national sport. Pair that with batteries — home Powerwalls, neighbourhood units, utility Megapacks — and the old argument about "what happens when the sun goes down" starts to look like last decade's homework.
Elon Musk's energy companies have always been the other half of the car company. The same cells, the same manufacturing obsession, the same preference for shipping over panel discussions. A paper that covers Tesla without covering Megapacks is only reading half the annual report.
